I was constantly looking for summative assessments. I would teach a standard and then look for a summative assessment that would adequately assess my students’ learning. I was struggling to find ones that I didn’t have to edit or change to meet the needs of my students as well as assess the standard rigorously.
I finally decided to write me own.
Summative assessments are used to evaluate student’s learning after teaching has occurred to ensure that the students have learned the standard. They are also a great way to ensure that your students are prepared for the high stakes end of the year assessments.
This provides a summative assessment for all 37 fourth grade math Common Core Math Standards.
